Students shine as product designers building the perfect bike to satisfy customer needs. They will discover that customers buy products for their benefits, not their features or components. Students learn to interpret marketing research data to identify positive and negative correlations between benefits and components. The exercise culminates with a practical business challenge wherein the students use their newly acquired knowledge to design a bicycle that meets the needs of a specific customer segment.
