SUBMISSION AND PUBLICATION
Choose Your Submission Path
For authors submitting cases, teaching notes, simulations, or other learning materials directly.
If your case features women in leadership, submit it to the IWIL Case Writing Competition.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
While we’re always eager to add new cases and learning materials to our collection, maintaining our high standards of quality is essential. To ensure this, all submissions are evaluated against the following criteria:
• Submissions must meet our Submission Requirements and follow our Citation Guidelines.
• At least one author must be a faculty member or PhD candidate currently teaching at a business school.
• We do not accept cases with a decision point that occurred more than five years ago.
• Cases must be written in the past tense. Teaching notes can be written in the past or present tense.
• Each case must be accompanied by a comprehensive teaching note that follows our Teaching Note Layout.
Other Submission Considerations
• Upon first mention, people in cases should be referred to by their full name (i.e., given name and family name). All
subsequent references are by family name only, unless requested otherwise.
• Avoid slang or colloquial expressions.
• Authors should thoroughly proofread their documents before submission to ensure they are readable and error-free.
• Field case submissions must be accompanied by a Release Form signed by the subject organization.
