Mohnish Gupta: Financial Security Versus Autonomy

Mohnish Gupta, an HIV-AIDS physician, left a government hospital position for a pivotal position at The Global Health Engine (GHE), an international organization renowned for coordinating and promoting scientifically based medical efforts on a global scale. Should Gupta accept the promotion or continue with his plan to resign from GHE and return to greater professional autonomy and a more balanced work life but lower income at the government hospital?
