Join Ivey Publishing at the North American Case Research Association (NACRA) Annual Conference brings together case researchers, writers, and educators for three days of collaboration, discussion, and professional development. Taking place October 15–17, 2026, in Orlando, Florida, the conference features interactive case roundtables, workshops, pedagogy and research sessions, and discussions on emerging topics in case research and teaching.

We’re excited to contribute two New Views sessions to NACRA 2026, exploring new approaches to case teaching and learning:

  • The Expanded Case Classroom: Multi-Modal Teaching for Diverse Learners: This interactive workshop explores how educators can expand beyond the traditional discussion case by thoughtfully incorporating formats such as role-play, structured exercises, and digital experiences to support different learning objectives and learner needs.
  • What Happened and Why: Short Retrospective Cases for Executive Learning: This workshop introduces retrospective case analysis as a complementary approach for executive education, shifting the focus from “What should the protagonist do?” to “What happened, and why?” to encourage deeper reflection, diagnosis, and strategic learning from real organizational outcomes.
